Identification of bleeding frames and hemostasis support in laparoscopic surgery

With recent improvements of medical technology, minimally invasive treatments are much in demand. Laparoscopic surgery has attracted a lot of attention because it can reduce surgical wound and leads to faster recovery compared with open surgery . On the other hand, it is difficult to find bleeding points because of lower visibility of blooding and narrow field of view in the laparoscope. We propose a method for hemostasis support in laparoscopic surgery using highlighting of blood regions and presenting bleeding frames in laparoscopic images. In order to assist the hemostasis, we aim to develop a hemostasis support system in laparoscopic surgery.
