ABSTRACT

Changes in Research Field throughout My Career (Part A)

I obtained my Ph.D from Chiba University in 2000. I did my research on dynamics of myofibrillar proteins in cultured muscle cells in Japan. My works have been published in internationally recognized journals. Now, I am working in University Malaysia Sarawak and my field of research has been changed according to the situation here.

Correlation of Medicine and Engineering in Malaysia (Part B)

Medical Engineering is the application of engineering principles for healthcare purposes. Biomedical engineering in Malaysia is a young field that has the potential to grow. Certification of biomedical engineering personnel becomes mandatory in Malaysia. The Tissue Engineering Society of Malaysia organizes Scientific Meeting every year.
