開催経緯

国際生体医工学会IFMBE (International Federation on Medical and Biological Engineering)のアジア太平洋地域支部であるAsian Pacific Working Group(APWG)は，３年毎に開催されるIUPESM(IOMP IFMBE 合同組織)主催のWorld Congress開催にあわせ，アジア太平洋地域の若手生体医工学研究者間の交流を促進するアジア諸国より選抜された若手研究者を対象にするNetwork Fellowshipプログラム，"The IFMBE Asian Pacific Research Network Fellowship (APRNF)"を実施しています．

World Congress開催前１週間程度の期間を使い，若手研究者が一緒にアジア数カ国の研究機関を訪問し，各国の著名な研究者との交流を行い，その後World Congress にて論文発表をするものです．

APRNFでは2009，2012に続き今回も千葉大CFMEへの訪問・交流が予定されており，この国際医工学セミナーは今回で四回目となるAPRNFにおける訪問交流の一環として実施します．
