Easy-to-use low-cost health monitoring has received renewed interest in the wake of COVID-19. We will discuss non-invasive and contactless health evaluation methods that use conventional cameras and sensors in the visible and NIR. Details will be given to our studies on capillary refill time using RGB cameras, retina imaging for anomaly detection, and how gentle pressure facilitates light penetration in the skin.
